Small percentage of mob present in fat score 1 condition, however these ewes have reacted positively to the warmer seasonal conditions and are freshening up in condition. Will travel well.

Presented is a article of 170 mixed aged Merino ewes, SIL to Border Leicester Rams. These 3-5.5 year old ewes (majority 4 year old), have reacted well to the favourable warmer spring conditions, presenting in forward freshening condition. Averaging 55.2Kg at assessment, topping at 76Kg, these western bred merino ewes show favourable breeding characteristics for 1X progeny. Ewes were joined for a 6 week period and are due to commence lambing start of November. Ewes are mulesed and April shorn with 1.5-2.5 inches of current wool length. Ewes have been drenched. Each ewe has previously successfully raised a lamb, vendor culls unproductive stock. These fertile western bred ewes show long, plain bodies and are of medium to large frame. A great opportunity to secure a line of middle aged mature breeders, SIL to Border Leicester rams to produce desirable 1X progeny to suit a breeder or trading enterprise. *Buyers please note short delivery period*
