Assessor Comments
240 SIL Maiden Merino Ewes, With a liveweight range at assessment of 31kg to 55kg, for an average projected delivery weight of 41kg curtfewed. The vendor had been purchasing GRASS Merino rams for the past 25 years, with a large emphasis on High volume wool cuts, fertility, and reduced wrinkle. These ewes are off shears, and have averaged around 4kg of historically 19 micron wool, and have been treated with Viper Back liner. Ewes were not scanned for twins, as the scanner was unavailable in the window of opportunity, and are due to start lambing on the 9th of september. The ewes are a genuine sale, only being sold as they are surplus to requirements, because they have come out of a larger mob of maiden ewes that were scanned at 98% in lamb. Ewes were origionally Bred at the vendors porperty near Cunnamulla, and were brought to the area due to the purchase of this property. (One ewe weighed with a small horns) Anything deemed not fit to load due to Lambing will be held back from loading.
