All ewes are GSM with good udders. 100% of ewes showing wear or spread consistent with age. See photos for random sample of mouths. Any faulty mouths/udders removed prior to assessment.
Assessor Comments
A well bred, smaller line of Dorper cross mature-aged, very productive ewes. These ewes were purchased in May 2020, as depastured to Dorper rams, ex Western Queensland producer. Ewes scanned up 90% in lamb with the dry’s sold off last year.These ewes successfully raised 125% of Dorper lambs & were rejoined to the vendors White Suffolk rams, producing 130% of suckers last drop. Ewes are proven breeders that have produced & raised 2 drops of lambs in a 14 month period. All ewes have been mouthed and visually inspected for faulty udders, with any ewe deemed to be not sound on teeth or udder removed prior to assessment. These ewes have demonstrated excellent production, & with good mouths and plenty of constitution left in them, it would be a shame to deny them the opportunity to go around at least one more time. A small percentage of ewes present with scaley ears attributed to age (see photos).100% of mob weighed for buyer confidence. 116 White Dorper ewes from same mob, this sale also.

Typical Dorper wool/hair. Length varies a little, from bare up to 70mm of matted hair, however a large number of ewes present with bare bellies and lower points.

Purchased May 2020, ex Western Queensland , as station mated 4 & 5 year olds . Dry ewes sold last year. All ewes have produced 2 drops of lambs since May 2020. The first drop to Dorpers rams, then rejoined & lambed down to vendors White Suffolk rams.

Medium frame shedders. Bred from Dorper sires selected from various studs including Burrawang bloodlines.

These ewes have proven to be very productive, having raised 2 drops of lambs since being purchased in lamb in May last year. They produced a very attractive White Suffolk X sucker,(weaned 27/8) which maintained excellent freshness, last time around.
