300 May/June 2016 merino ewes, Miegunyah bred, Caroonboon Poll blood, September shorn, 64.5 kgs live weight. A very well bred line of proven breeder ewes, the Porter Family have been purchasing the better end of Caroonboon Poll Rams since breeding Merinos. These ewes all scanned in lambs and reared 130% of lambs this year. Lambs were weaned off ewes over a month ago and ewes have responded on quality spring feed. Ewes are long and deep, cutting a long stapled fleece of 20 micron wool, great dual purpose sheep suiting merino or prime lamb production. Of ewes assessed all mouths were sound. Quality ewes that will not disappoint.
