Offering a small line of mixed age merino ewes SIL to the Border Leister sires. These ewes are typical of western bred sheep being large framed, deep barrelled and are carrying a big start in the jacket of 20-21 micron heavy cutting wool. They range from 1.5-6.5 years of age with the majority offering a few more years of production yet. They are predominantly vendor bred (bred on both of their Riverina and Qld properties) and comprising approx 17% purchased ewes ex Qld. The vendor bred ewes are Poll Bluebush blood with a heavy focus on fertility. These ewes are from the annual surplus to requirements xb mated program. In the past these ewes have been lambed down with the lambs sold a varying stages. The progeny have the ability to grow into export weighted lambs with the female portion proving highly productive. Quality ewes out of the renowned Hay district, buy with confidence. Given the latest lift observed in the mutton market these ewes are ideal to trade into the winter market.
