Medium/large framed Cottage Park blood merino ewes. Scanned empty for buyer convenience and ready to join to the sire of your choosing. These ewes would be ideal first cross lamb producers given their frame, length and depth. This consignment consists of one mark ewes purchased direct the breeder (Ariah Park) through the Wagga saleyards as young NSM ewes. Intentions were to join and lamb down but due to welcome rain the decision has been made to take crops through to grain. Ewes are currently running in containment with barley in feeders and cereal hay ad lib. 2% of ewes have a green NLIS tag with the balance being purple. Mouthed 40 head at assessment to determine an approximate age break up with 20% identified as 3 years of age (6 th - fresh full mouths) balance 2 yrs. These ewes will fill bales. Their staple is long and wool is clean and bright. These ewes are suited to a variety of climates. Ideal to top up a flock with some youth or even lend themselves to a trade opportunity.
