Extremely healthy Ewes with only a very small proportion being a score 1 in fat condition and in my opinion will flourish in some warmer weather moving forward.

This is a fantastic opportunity to purchase a significant line of Red Tag 1st x Ewes that are SIL to Poll Dorset & Southdown rams at 172% to commence lambing early June for a seven week period. These ewes are currently three weeks off shears and apart from some minor shearing wounds they present in a fantastic condition and given the opportunity they will bounce forward in a warmer climate. These sheep were purchased via the Benalla Special 1st X Ewe sales as 1.5 yr olds. It is important to understand that these ewes are extremely fertile and have successfully produced a lamb every year since lambing as David will always scan his joined ewes for singles & multiples, with the empty ewes being sold. As you may see in the photos & videos there are ewes with a blue loin mark, this indicates singles scanning.
Please note that there may be a small % of Ewes that have elongated toes due to their age, any major faults were removed during drafting to the best of our ability.
