THIS REPRESENTS AN OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE A LARGE LINE OF SCANNED IN LAMB DORPER EWES. THEY WERE PURCHASED BACK IN DECEMBER FROM WA AS PART OF THE FRICK FAMILY FLOCK DISPERSAL. THE ODD EWE HAS GOT ITS WORKING CLOTHES ON SO MAY BE LIGHTER IN WEIGHT OR FAT COVER. THEY HAVE BEEN JOINED TO THE DEEPDALE & DUST N RAIN DORPER RAMS & WERE SCANNED IN LAMB DAY OF ASSESSMENT. THE AGES ARE BASED OFF TAG COLOUR & ON INSPECTION THEY LOOK TO BE CORRECT. ON A VISUAL OVER THE ENTIRE LOT THERE LOOKED TO ONLY BE AROUND 2 ORANGE TAGS. ON MOUTHING AROUND 6 GREEN TAGS ONE WAS FAULTY. THEY HAVE DIFFERENT DEGREES OF SHEDDING & WE DID REMOVE A SMALL TAIL OF THE WOOLIER TYPES. OFF THE SAMPLE ASSESSED THERE WAS 15% WITH TAILS. NOTE THE SISTERS IN THE SAME SALE TO MAKE A LINE OF OVER 1,000 SCANNED IN LAMB DORPER EWES. THEY ARE ONLY SPLIT DUE TO BEING IN TWO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS ON THE PROPERTY.
