Assessor Comments
Excellent line of May/June 2020 drop, maiden ewes, A/c Hannaton Poll Merino stud at Kaniva. Large frame ewes in forward to fat condition, June shorn with a very nice, stylish 45 mm staple length of wool on their backs. The Hicks family have been breeding merino sheep at Hannaton for over 100 years and they are using merino ASBV figures extensively in the stud to look for sheep with positive fat and eye muscle whilst retaining good style, productive white wools. These ewes are showing the benefits of a good spring season and will be suitable to join to merino or British breed rams from now on. OJD approved vaccinates from an MN3 flock with Brucellosis Free accreditation. Sheep free to travel all states.
