On offer in a final stage flock dispersal are 395 Merino ewe hoggets, April/May 2023 drop. These ewes are the complete drop of 2023 ewes from the renowned “West Ooma” flock of Ross Williams and are the last of Ross’s sheep to be sold following the sale of the property. The flock has been based on Yarong blood (SRS type) for many years, classed annually and only rams introduced to the property. These ewes display the plain bodies, do-ability and growth of the SRS type. They are also non mulesed and Gudair vaccinated. With 9 months growth, the ewes cut 5kg/head at last shearing and tested 18.2 micron, 99mm length and 70% yield. No fly preventative backlines have been used in the flock and a worm egg count in June revealed no need to drench. These ewes present a very rare opportunity to purchase a complete drop of ewes from a highly productive flock, which present in excellent condition and are ready to join to the ram of your choice. Noted 1 ewe with a black patch on leg (not in fleece)
