Assessor Comments
An outstanding line of young commercial ewes out of the Dalveen stud. This line makes up 50% of the age drop and are surplus to requirements. Bare shorn. These ewes have averaged 100 mm wool length at 9.5 months shearing. A fair number of these ewes still have their lambs teeth with 35% just starting to cut. Of the 70 mouthed, 19 showed as 2 teeth, with another 5 cutting their first tooth. These ewes will present in very good buckle, being mainly score 3's and 4's. They are the ideal dual purpose ewes, suitable to both crossbred and merino production, being large of frame, and very straight in the body. A small tail has been taken out.
These ewes are on a rising plane of nutrition and will prove to be a very good long term investment for the discerning producer.
The property is OJD MN2 and brucellosis free accredited.
