Assessor Comments
Yarrawonga blood, predominantly plain-bodied Merino ewe lambs which would be highly suitable to restockers joining to teriminal sires for prime lamb production. The young ewes demonstrate great growth and structure - true to breeding qualities of Yarrawonga bloodlines. Tiverton Partnership have been purchasing Yarrawonga Poll Merino rams for more than 10 years. All the Merino ewes at Tiverton are Gudair vaccinated as lambs. The ewes also received a light mulesing, using Tri-Solfen for pain relief. The very well-bred ewes averaged 50.3kg live weight at assessment. Low weight: 41kg; high weight: 64kg.
