Assessor Comments
A very good line of 2016/2017 drop M/W carrying 10 months of quality fine wool. Wethers weight range is 48 to 75 kg with an average of 61.6 kg at assessment. Wethers had been shut up in small 20 ac paddock for 2 days prior to assessment. They have good frame which is best described as 25 % large, 67% medium and 8% small for breeding and local conditions. They present in good order and show all the characteristics of top breeding principles and were bred by well known Sheep breeders from Uralla the Carlon family. The current Vendors are known as being excellent wool producers and these Wethers reflect that. Last years wool test results available in photos which include 10 bales from another mob of 290 head from another block. These Wethers are ideal to shear and fatten to export weights or run on for another year or two.
