THE MCINNES FAMILY HAVE BEEN BREEDING MERINO'S BASED ON WOOL TYPE AND STRUCTURE FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. THIS YEAR THEY HAVE ACHIEVED A SOUTH AUSTRALIA RECORD FOR THE FINEST MERINO FLEECE WITH THEIR BROTHERS ACHIEVING 14.4KG AND ALSO THE SECOND HIGHEDT WOOL PRICE IN SA FOR 20 YEARS. EWES ARE BLACKFORD AND TURKEY LANE BLOOD, M&TS, SEPTEMBER SHORN, PRESENT IN A FRESH FORWARD STORE CONDITION, MEDIUM FRAME OVER A PLAIN BODIED SHEEP. PLEASE NOTE THAT EWES CUT 2.5KG OF WOOL AT ONLY 8 MONTHS SHEARING.
