A neat run of good quality, young Merino ewes scanned in lamb to the white suffolk rams. These ewes were shorn early january and have come out of the Monaro spring well, cutting 5.5kgs of ten months wool. The mature Wandoo flock average 6.5kgs at 18.5 micron. Ewes were joined for a mid-march lamb and should lamb over 5.5 weeks. These ewes would be a welcome addition to any merino enterprise or a suitable flock to someone starting out. Could also be lambed down and traded. Ewes are medium framed and in forward condition and will continue to improve as the season continues. OJD vaccinated and mulesed. Ewes have been precautionary dipped off shears.
Please note: agent can arrange freight to Riverina with weekly market trucks to Wagga. Two ewes noted to have small patch of old fly strike (not detrimental). Odd ewe with scurs.
