Assessor Comments
Here is a good quality line of blue tag Merino ewes, 6.5 years of age which have been SIL to White Suffolk rams. These ewes are Western Australian bred with 2x marks, Woodyarrup and Kolindale blood. Ewes were purchased on AuctionsPlus ex White Cliffs and have also been tagged with the previous owner's tag in various colours. Ewes show good frame and are carrying a nice August shorn jacket. They were all mouthed in September with any broken mouths removed. Approx. 15 ewes mouthed at assessment, most showed good sounds mouths with some showing signs of wear in centre teeth. Ewes are SIL to Kinellar White Suffolk rams. A good opportunity to purchase quality ewes which are SIL, ideal to produce a lamb and then shear & fatten the ewe for the mutton market.
