A quality line of young SIL merino ewes from the renowned McCormack family flock. These ewes present in forward store condition with good frame and produce a quality fleece of fine wool. These ewes are only being sold as the McCormack family are selling all ewes joined to Border Leicester rams to simplify their operation. The Thuroona flock is heavily classed annually with emphasis on wool quality, fertility and structure. These ewes have raised a lamb to weaning every year (except maidens) averaging minimum 100% lambs weaned to ewes joined. The progeny from these ewes are highly sought after with ewe portion consistently in the top tier at the annual SELX First Cross Ewe Sale averaging $400 for the complete drop the past two
years. The wether portion have also been fattened to export weights.
