Assessor Comments
A good quality line of 2 year old ewes scanned 125% in lamb to GILMORE Poll Dorset rams to start lambing mid August. This mob is comprised of a line of ewes purchased ex SA breeder, as mixed sex lambs, with the remainder bred at MERINDAH, by the previous owner of the property. Ewes have grown out well, exhibiting good frame, & length of body, and have all previously produced a lamb on MERINDAH. Stylish ewes with a good rebate on their back & a short wait until lambs start hitting the ground. Ewes are in good health, though lacking a little condition due to the continued watery feed, due to a very wet season. Ewes were purchased in conjunction with the property & are only being offered for sale due to a change in direction of operations by the vendor. 1 ewe was noticed to have shorter & uneven wool as a result of being fevered in the past ( now recovered). A great opportunity to secure well grown young ewes in the prime of their lives.
