Young ewes SIL to "Salmon" Poll Dorset rams @ 151% for June/July lambing. Ewes present in terrific condition, are very healthy and crutched ready for lambing. All ewes raised a good quality lamb last year, so good maternal traits for the years ahead. Through summer ewes were fed grain so anyone needing to feed awaiting the break can be confident ewes will adapt quickly. Ewes were purchased off A+ last year as 100% BL/Mer x, however I don't believe every ewe has a classic Border head.
