Assessor Comments
Presenting an outstanding line of vendor bred 1st cross ewes which could be joined at any time. The vendor has done an excellent job of maintaining the ewes growth rate and displaying their genetic potential. The ewes, which are majority lambs, present in forward condition weighing approx 55kgs and display good length and depth of body. Ideal traits for the most discerning fat lamb producer. There is 225 of these ewes being just the lighter draft of 675. They were good to handle but will make an impact if you get in their road, that's how fit and strong they are. By excellent quality rams out of classed ewes they present a great opportunity to secure quality breeders which have their best days ahead of them. I noticed approx 3 ewes with a small black spot on legs, nothing encroaching into wool line. Some of the best ewes I have assessed this year and would be a valuable addition to any breeding programme. 2 other lots this sale
