Assessor Comments
Regretful sale of some very large frame ewes that cut a beautiful 19.4 micron fleece. These ewes have been ideal ewes to breed to any terminal ram or could be joined to the merino for future breeders. These sheep have not handled the high rainfall country and would be a shame if not given the oppurtunity in a dryer climate. Middle age ewes that have many years of breeding ahead of them.

Introduced Sheep
1-5 sources of sheep have been introduced onto the consignment property in the last 5 years
Footrot
All consigned sheep are from a flock that is free of Virulent Footrot
Consigned sheep are from a flock that is NOT free of Benign Footrot or Scald
Further Information: These ewes have not handled the high rainfall country. As seen in the photos approx 50% of the ewes have a long nail on one or more toes. These sheep would be best suited for lower rainfall country.
Feet were inspected at assessment. Inspected 50 head (25%)
Comments: At least half the mob would need long toe nails trimmed. No foot rot present in the sheep. Not ideal for high rainfall areas.
Lice
All consigned sheep are from a flock that is free of Lice
