Assessor Comments
A very good line of 40 Corriedale / Merino X Ewes. These ewes are mixed ages, with the break up being 1 2018 drop, 6 2017 drop, 16 2016 drop, 6 2015 drop, 11 2014 drop. All the ewes in the assessment had lambs this season, with the vendor regularly scanning pre lambing with dry ewes removed from flock. These ewes present for sale due to the vendor being overstocked this season and it is a regretful sale, and in the assessors opinion and the vendors opinion they are a line of ewes that are too good to kill and worthy of another chance. The vendor would normally join these sheep to a White Suffolk for an autumn lamb, but are good enough to join to any ram of choice. They are an ideal run of sheep to suit a smaller operator but good enough sheep to use as an addition to any larger operation.
