Assessor Comments
A small lot of ewes that are basically still lambs with a small amount of 2-tooths and a 4-tooth in the sample mouthed. Detail in relation to accurate age in months is an estimate only as they are run in continuously mated flock however they are the full drop in each age group. As a consequence a large sample were mouthed. There does appear to be a few ewes that are a fair way along in their pregnancy and any ewes that don't meet the fit to load protocols will be discarded. Rams will still have exposure to ewes until delivery. All this aside these are still a reasonably attractive lot of ewes that will suit a restocker to increase breeder numbers. Noted approx. 38 ewes with long tails in sale lot. There is not a large number of these ewes but are located only 15kms off the main Warrego Highway so a backload opportunity would appear to be realistic for most Qld buyers. Would discourage long distance transportation as the pregnancy window in months is largely unknown.
