Very good quality Poll Coreena Blood ewes *. Medium to larger frame ewes in good strong store to forward store / fresh condition depastured to & scanned in lamb to Coreena Poll Merino rams. Each age group assessed & a total of 70% Vendor bred being A/M drop 34% Green 2019 drop, 15% Orange 2018 drop, 14% White 2017 drop & 7% Black 2016 drop. 30% Blue tag Purchased from "Coreena" 2015 drop & *a small number of Thallon bred MPM 2015 drop. All age groups are classed in for wool type, structure and have been rejoined in the autumn now scanned in lamb. A % are carrying light breach stain and would benefit from crutching & wigging before lambing. Elward Downs have experienced back to back good grass & herbage seasons the last three years with the ewe flock in prime production & a scanning programme double joinings & producing lambs. This group of ewes are the later joining and with recent spoiling rain feed quality and bulk will be reserved for the earlier lambing ewes on hand.

Grazing Conditions
