Assessor Comments
A line of one mark mixed age Dohne ewes SIL to Poll Dorset rams. These ewes are medium to larger in frame and plain bodied as you would expect from a Dohne. They have been joined to Poll Dorset rams that are based on Tattykeel and Aberdeen bloodlines. Rams went in on the 25/02 and were removed on the 6/06. Working back from their scanning date these ewes are estimated to lamb over approximately 8 weeks from late July. They are scanned with 41% carrying multiples and all undetectable ewes have been removed and sold. These ewes are shorn up and ready to put out to lamb. Note these ewes have not all been tagged in accordance with the NLIS colour scheme. Black tag - 2020 drop, Purple tag - (2019) and then Orange (2018), White (2017), Red (2014) and Yellow (2013) representing the correct year born. A sample of the older ewes mouthed found some broken while others were sound. These ewes are reasonably reserved and present as a quick trade. 2 hd with a longer toe. A reasonable tail removed.
