140 - Excellent Quality Vendor bred Border Leicester x Merino Ewe lambs. Scanned in lamb to proven Low Birth Weight Charolais rams, having been previously mated over similar description ewe lambs with good lambing results. Ewes present in healthy fresh condition demonstrating substantial growth for age. All ewes were weighed at assessment ranging from 50kg to 79kg to average 62.8kg. Ewes are bred from a history of high fertility, their mother scanned @ 157% lambs & they themselves demonstrating high fertility scanning at 156% lambs at the age of 9 to 11 months. Purchasers note ewes are being offered as run out the gate of 140 of a draft of 280 ewes, particular attention will be taken to ensure an even number of twinning ewes are delivered with each lot ensuring scanning percentages are even. Sale of Ewes represents an annual production sale of 1st X ewe lambs, an opportunity to secure a genuine line of quality young ewes that would satisfy the most discerning buyer.
