Age Breakup: All Ewes are a July/August Drop, with the youngest a 2021 Drop to a 2016 Drop. The Majority of these Ewes are 2020 and 2019 Drop which are Rising 3 and Rising 4 Year Old. Very few Black and White Tag Ewes in them.
Assessor Comments
The Feakins are offering off "Keringa" their entire flock of commercial X Bred Ewes as one line. These Ewes are bred from a 1st X Ewe originally and have predominantly used a Charollais Ram as the cross but at times have used an English Leicester and an East Friesian. These are a fertile Ewe that are SIL at close to 160% to the Charollais Ram so will produce a quick growing Lamb that will hit most markets. Ideally they produce an excellent domestic lamb but will also go out to export. They are a true July/August Drop and range from a 2019 Drop to a 2016 Drop but the majority of these ewes are a 2020 and 2019 Drop. This is an ideal way to get into a sound flock of X Bred Ewes with a good spread of Age. These Ewes will be Realistically Reserved at $160 which with the amount of Lambs in these Ewes is a fantastic opportunity for the successful Purchaser.
