Assessor Comments
The Emery's are reluctantly offering 6 light decks of quality scanned in lamb, classed in 2 year old ewes. These young maidens represent years of classing and selection and are only available due to a change in enterprise structure. Whilst these ewes are lighter in condition and body weight at this time, we are also offering their 3 year old sisters for sale,.. here you can see what these younger ewes will look like soon. The older age groups are being retained until later to enable a gradual changeover to a beef production enterprise. These yellow tag ewes have had a bit of a challenge recently but are improving very quickly and will keep going ahead on Nethervale and where ever they might end up. A very small number of ewes have horns or scurrs,.. probably less than 4%. This offering would be a very fine addition to any medium/finer wool enterprise and comes with our fullest recommendations.
