Prime lamb breeders, here is a good quality line of Poll Dorset x Merino first cross ewe lambs, May to July 2020 drop. These ewes are well grown and show good frame for their age. They are SIL at 117% to top quality Ridgehaven Poll Dorset rams which were specifically selected for joining to maidens. The vendor is currently lambing down the sisters of these ewes which were joined earlier to the same rams and has not experienced any lambing issues. These ewes present a great opportunity to purchase ewe lambs already SIL and ready to start producing for you, still with their whole productive lives ahead of them. Please note 6 ewes were mouthed at assessment, all were still lambs however some were in the process of breaking teeth and I would expect some to be hoggets by delivery. 4 ewes with old fly strike on the rump/back. Also noted some ewes with rubbing on the sides of fleece, this is from ewes walking through tall saffron thistles, no lice observed and ewes have been backlined.
