Age Breakup: Some lambs are the normal winter drop, others are from a later joined spring drop.
Assessor Comments
We are offering a light 4 decks of SIL Meatplus ewe lambs. These lambs have all their productive life ahead of them and will give the purchaser a dividend for the upcoming Spring. There is a fair range in weights with this mob as they do cover 2 distinct joinings, and obviously a size variation as well. The Poll Dorset rams however have faithfully joined them all. Some ewes do carry a little stain and some daggs from our recent favourable season, some do carry a few Bathurst Burrs. The odd ewe could also have a black spot or some colouring in the wool or skin. None of these issues should have any major bearing on the future profitability of these young breeders. They represent a very viable option to add to or enter the prime lamb industry in what looks set to be a very strong season going forward. We believe that they present good value.
