Assessor Comments
600 Black & White tag (2016&2017 drop) Merino ewes. There is 1,000 in total, to be sold as a line of 600 and a line of 400. To be sold as 'run out the gate'. 'Austral Park' was based on Barrama bld for year, recently they have introduced Stud Park South & Wallaloo genetics. 'Mountain Dam' ewes were also purchased 2 years ago which are mixed though. All ewes weaned lambs this year in October and were shorn in Nov. The wool tested well this year, see attached. These are the tops of the 16 & 2017 drop ewes. All ewes have been mouthed and uttered. We didn't count how many white tags there were however I assume it would be approx 50% of each age group. The 2016 drop would of had a extra year of preg testing so there could be a few less of them. The 'Mountain Dam' ewes are big deep body ewes which cut quality wool and produce a good first cross lamb.
