Pastora blood Merino ewe hoggets that are well grown, averaged 53.8kg (44-69kg) and come with a big 65mm skin. The flock has been using Pastora bloodlines for 22 years with a focus on breeding large frame, heavy cutting, highly fertile sheep. The adult ewe flock typically cuts 6.5-7kg of 17-17.5 micron wool and mark 110-120% lambs from ewes joined. The wether lamb portion are typically processed at 26-27kg cwt at 9-10 months, with a consignment sent to Gundagai Lamb receiving an IMF bonus on 90% of the consignment - the second highest score ever recieved. Please note; a 5% tail has been removed from the line. These ewes would be ideal to join to a terminal or maternal for prime lamb production and will be productive wool growers and breeders for many years to come. Vendor has no hestitation to retain them if they don't meet expectations.
