A nicely presented draft of SIL Merino ewes in forward store to forward condition. Ewes are 3 to 6 year old and have been scanned in lamb to the Athlone Southdown Poll Dorset X ram. Big rebate on their back being September shorn they have also had their pre-lamb long acting drench & vaccination. The Strathallan operation has been sourcing genetics from Firgrove & Gelton Merino studs for a number of years, producing principally medium frame, plain bodied merinos cutting around 5kg fleece wool at around 18 micron. An opportunity to acquire 100% SIL Merino ewes with a big start to the skin to lamb to the crossbred ram for a July onwards lamb.
