Offering in total 336 1st Border Leicester x Merino Ewes , selling in 2 lots of 168 head (run out the gate at delivery).
These ewes are May/June/July 2020 drop. They are good medium to large frame ewes that present in froward condition. These ewes were purchased from Bridgewater (through A+) in August 2020 and ran over lucerne paddocks in the spring and cereal/bean stubbles over the summer. Ewes are February shron, Backlined O/S, Mlsd and are also OJD vaccinated. This line of ewes have been Depastured to the Pembroke Poll Dorset rams from the 15/03/21 , and rams were removed are scanning on the 13th June. Alistair Calder scanned the ewes and found 55 twins & 113 singles OR 132%. Twins and singles will be drafted at delivery and evenly distributed between both lots, through a run out the gate. Great line of young breeding ewes with their entire lives in front of them. All the hard work has been done. (Assessed 121 ewes out of 336 total, to be sold in 2 lots)
