Assessor Comments
An excellent opportunity on some A Grade young ewes. This is a run out of the gate of 526, being the lead draft of the surplus ewes. The Woidt family have been breeding merinos for 47 years and have developed a great reputation as producers of top quality sheep with these girls no exception, exhibiting stretchy, plain bodies and clean, open faces. The family have a strict selection criteria with their rams, which has resulted in excellent fertility, long staples, plain bodies and overall easy care ewes. These ewes have a track record as excellent first cross mothers, however would suit any breeding enterprise. They are in a forward and freshening condition and are ready for joining. Note the seconds are in this sale also, giving a total offering of 662 ewes.
