Ewes are still active and healthy. Been fed on only hay and with young lambs is taking a bit out of the ewes.

A line of 1st and 2nd cross mixed aged ewes with 119 L.A.F. 1st cross ewes were purchased off a local breeder while the 2nd cross ewes were the female proportion of their lambs retained as well as some kept from cross bred lambs purchased in. Majority are big framed ewes with fresh lambs at foot. There is still the chance of a ewe to lamb given the date that the rams came out and at assessment a guess of around half a dozen to lamb. Selling due to a change in operation.
