Complete flock dispersal of West Plains P’ship due to the Property been sold.The Hammond Family’s Flock has been based on pure Uardry/Calga Blood Dohnes & Caroonboon Poll Merino Rams being introduced to improve wool quality in 2019. The West Plains flock’s goal have been to Breed Hardier sheep that are Large framed yet Easy doing sheep with plain bodies, soft wool and high Fertility with the flock currently in a double joining programme in the Spring & Autumn periods. The flock has no vet treatments to report other that a Backline at shearing time on 21/07/20.
***** These Stylish 2 year old ewes are very well grown out for there age and are doing a great job on there lambs.With 97% lambs at foot and 11 months of wool on their backs it is a rare opportunity to buy quality classed young breeders that are in there prime.
* buyers note - Same description dry ewes that would normally be joined in the Autumn are in the same sale.
