On offer account Rocklyn Merinos of Greenethorpe NSW, an outstanding run of 480 NSM Merino Ewes to be offered as 2 lines of 240 ewes. Ewes are a July/August 2019 Drop averaging 73.5 Kg at assessment. A tail has been removed from this line of ewes. Rocklyn Merinos has over 80 Years of adaptive breeding behind their program and annually offer their surplus ewes over Auctions Plus. Rocklyn aims to breed dual purpose merinos focusing on fertility, wool cut, fiber diameter, and early growth rate with plain bodies and an ability to handle weather extremes. Ewes have a 12 Month wool clip of 7.4Kg, a Wool Cut Yield of 67.5, Fiber Diameter of 19.1 & average of 19 Micron in 2024. Ewes lambed at 113% in 2024 and are light wrinkled sheep with open heads. Rocklyn's program is a CLOSED FLOCK with ewes drenched & backlined with Maverick and vaccinated with Glanery 7 in 1 + B12 on the 27/5/24.
