Offering on behalf of Avonlea Farm is a line of 225 station mated ewes. Ewes present in solid store condition with plenty of stretch and frame averaging 73kg at assessment. They were purchased out of Jamestown in 2018 and are very true to type SA Mallee Bld ewes. They are November shorn where they cut 5kg of 21 micron wool and have a good rebate on their backs already. Ewes have had an 8 week joining period from 20/01/24 to 20/03/24 so are due to commence lambing in late June. Last year this mob weaned 120% lambs which we sold early as trade weights.
Priced to sell with a $60 reserve.
This mob is a great opportunity for a quick turn around job to put some lambs on the ground by some proven breeders to capitalise on early spring markets.
