Strong forward store to fresh condition 3% are lighter store condition yet are expected to improve significantly on the fresh green feed and now being bare shorn. 2 rainfall events since assessment on the top of a very good feed base.

Poperty sold - Merino Downs Flock dispersal. 2-2.5 year Terrick Poll Merino ewes From a classed Poll Merino specialist woolgrowing & self replacing flock. Depastured with Terrick Poll Merino rams 05.10.21. 60% are Mar/April & 40% Sep/Oct 2019 drop - from a double joining that year. The youngest portion are unmulesed. Merino Downs is typically soft black loamy soil with aprrox 15% carrying longer overgrown toes as a result of the country and not genetics & 7% carry cheesy gland nodules (no vaccination protocols). 1 ewe in the sample assessed with scurs. Being assessed the same day as shearing the sheep were fresh with shearing cuts, abrasions and the odd ewe favouring a leg for the same reason. Given time and by delivery I would expect any shearing wounds to be well on the mend or have healed. The ewes are on very good quality feed and are expected to do very well from assessment to delivery - they will only go one way and that is improve on the fresh feed.
