Assessor Comments
These Vendor bred young ewes are an ideal addition to increase breeding numbers over the winter and have been joined up to the WS & Suffolk rams for a June 20th start for 6 weeks of lambing. The ewes have had a full crutch and are ready to drop straight into the paddock, currently they are in containment yards on a full hay/grain ration. There is a significant rebate on their backs being late Oct shorn and these ewes will cut a stylish 18-19m fleece in the Spring or earlier if so desired. Although not mulsed, these ewes were marked with a Tepari gas knife as lambs which creates a mild tail strip on a bare breach ewe as seen in the photos.
