Assessor Comments
A very high quality line of 4-5 year old pure Cassilis Park blood ewes SIL to top priced auction grade Cassilis Park poll rams. Cassilis Park blood sheep are known for their high fertility, growth and constitution whilst maintaining an excellent wool cut and a quality 18-19 fleece. These ewes are classed annually by Cam & James Armstrong and are large framed, deep bodied ewes. These ewes are 200% SIL (100% multiples) with a tight 5 week joining. Cassilis Park sheep are correct and true to type, with an infusion of Moorundie poll genetics for poll factor, they are renowned for breeding large framed, resilient merinos that consistently perform across different seasonal conditions and environments. These sheep display a high quality woolclip, strong fertility figures, whilst maintaining an unmulesed low maintenance fleece. The Temerity flock is a well managed self replacing flock with mature ewe averaging 18.5 micron, 6.5kg wool cut, and consistently weaning 110-120%.
