On offer is a great line of Western Australian bred Dohne Ewes that were purchased as SIL breeders. These ewes have been big productive sheep that have weaned 115% lambs and cut 5kg of 19.8um quality wool as a mob of mixed age ewes. These ewes rared a Autumn drop lamb and have been shorn up and put onto good feed so that they are ready to join again now. These ewes are predominately large framed, plain bodied sheep and would be ideal cross bred lamb breeders. This entire age group of ewes were mouthed and anything that was broken or missing a wing tooth was removed however some ewes in the mob are starting to get a bit long in the tooth, please see photos. Please note: Approximately 10% ewes have long toes from the soft season.
