Assessor Comments Vendor bred SRS maiden ewe hoggets. Plain bodied Blyth and Karbullah blood ewes being offered as surplus to requirements. These ewes were classed pre shearing and were in and out of the shed over a few days to keep them dry to enable them to get shorn. At assessment ewes averaged 52kg and offer compensatory weight gain post shearing/handling. These young ewes are ideal to join to the sire of your choosing anytime. These sheep exhibit the true SRS characteristics with most crutches devoid of breach wrinkle, reducing the risk of fly strike in this area. These ewes have very plain open bodies which has been linked to fertility. Please note wool results are the flock average from grown ewes shorn at 7-9 months growth and converted to a 12 months average. Recently cut 3kg from 6 months growth. 1 ewe with a black spot mid back - refer photo. All ewes are Gudair vaccinated at lamb marking. Previous purchasers have not been disappointed. Vendor Comments Over 30 years of quality fine medium wools. Sires used last 15 yrs rank very high for eye muscle. Evident in the butt shape of these ewes - fairly unique in quality fine/medium wooled sheep. Reflected now in consistent high fertility and resilience.
