On offer is an unfortunate sale of ewes that would never be usually sold like this but due to extreme circumstances with flood water on the way the vendor had no choice.
Most of these ewes are vendor bred by very large Western bred Dohne and Merino ewes sired by Outstanding Retallack Border Leister rams. In better years like this these ewes get double joined as that’s what the lambs are at foot now. Most of the lambs at foot are by Poll Dorset rams but I believe a very small % are by the Border Leister rams. This is a mixed age line of ewes which we identified most ages to there appropriate year but there were a small % of vendor bred ewes missing age tags. Please note in the weights we only went to 100kg, of the assessed ewes there were 18 head 100kg plus up to 120kg. Very realistic reserve for a unfortunate sale.
