A VERY GOOD OPPORTUNITY TO BUY VENDOR BRED STUD BORDER LEICESTER EWES WITH LAMBS AT FOOT. THIS IS A FULL DISPERSAL OF THE OLD BOURKLEIGH STUD EWES WITH OVER 50 YEARS BREEDING BEHIND THEM. THE STUD WAS PREVIOUSLY CALLED BOURKELEIGH BUT CHANGED TO OLD BOURKELEIGH 15 YEARS AGO WHEN THERE WAS A CHANGE IN THE FAMILY OWNERSHIP. THIS STUD HAS BEEN MAINLY UTILISED FOR PERSONAL USE IN A 1ST X EWE BREEDING PROGRAM WITH THE ODD EXCESS RAM SOLD ANNUALLY. MALE LAMBS AT FOOT HAVE NOT BEEN MARKED. THERE ARE 17 MALE AND 26 FEMALE. NOT ALL EWES HAVE A LAMB AT FOOT. ALL EWES WERE MOUTHED TO BE SOUND HOWEVER 2 WERE REMOVED FROM ASSESSMENT WITH A BROKEN MOUTH. THESE 2 EWES DO HAVE A LAMB AT FOOT AND A PRICE CAN BE NEGOTIATED WITH SUCCESSFUL PURCHASER. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS FOR MOUTHS ON OLDER EWES IN ASSESSMENT.
