On offer is a very good line of vendor bred merino ewes that are scanned in lamb to Ridgehaven Poll Dorset Rams. These ewes are from a flock with years of breeding behind them and are sired by Bogo and Kilphysic Merino Rams out of a Bogo & Roseville Park Ewe base. The breeding direction of these ewes has focused on wool type whilst still keeping quality carcase attributes on medium framed merinos. This line of ewes have had a tail classed out of them before joining and are only being offered as they are surplus to needs. Ewe flock is culled heavily each year on wrinkle around the breach and flanks and anything showing fly damage is culled out. Approximately 10% of ewes would benefit from crutching with manure stain around the breach. Vendor has been OJD vaccinating since 2007.
