Assessor Comments
Annual sale of the Maher young future breeding ewes. These ewes are September/October 2020 drop. They are small - medium frame and present in store condition. Ewes are March shorn and as lambs this year tested out at 17.7 micron. Very stylish , soft handing & bright wool types. The Maher sheep are based on Banavie blood with the vendor breeding their own rams. Show these ewes some strong feed over the spring/summer and they will grow into a line of good medium + frame breeding ewes. They have had a tougher winter, with a late winter break in the season and a colder than normal spring start. They are fit and healthy and will go ahead on good feed. The Maher flock is a "Non Mlsd flock". Realistic reserve $$
