A very good line of ewe hoggets showing great stretch and frame for age, This line of young ewes have been bred as the todays sheep been for both wool and meat traits and still keeping the large frame. All the hoggets on this property were shorn at 9 month and cut over 90 mm of wool, with a very good clean long staple. These ewes would suit either a merino breeder or a fat lamb producer. They are from a self replacing merino flock and only selling as vendor has breeding number to his level so these are surplus to requirement. The Chainpump ewes have been bred in this district for many generations and always are high productive and fertile breeders. Purchaser could buy with confidence that they have brought quality. Highly recommend to all.
