Quiet lot of cows to handle. Brought up by a single handler. All easy to get in the crush. All were very well behaved to mouth, some bellowing, but all exiting the crush at a walk. Just the one cow that got a bit emotional at mouthing, jumping about and pulling back on the head bale, listed above as slightly stirry.

Good opportunity for a future split job here. A spritely 145kg Autumn drop calf at foot that won’t be far off weaning come the Spring time, leaving a store condition cow to fatten with plenty of grass around in a buoyant cow market. Alternatively, these cows have had 6 weeks back with the bulls, with bulls only coming out at assessment, presenting the buyer with a potential 3in1 unit to go forward with. All cows presented with sound mouths, being 4 teeth out to full sound mouths. Calves are all fresh and being well looked after, just one little calf looking like he’s felt a few frosts this past week, but getting a good drink off his mum all the same. A good line of easy to manage units.
